PlanetSceneLinker - Free Add-On for Wikipedia

PlanetSceneLinker is a free add-on for Wikipedia which brings you an image count for every (lat, long) location on Wikipedia pages. The extension brings an extra section on the page to help you find the Earth in a map, making it easier to plan your route around the globe.

Whenever you see the word coordinates (latitude, longitude) on Wikipedia pages, the PlanetSceneLinker extension will ping the Planet Labs API to get a count of the images we have of that location, and add a link in-line that will take you to a Planet Scenes search for that location.

If you are trying to view satellite imagery, please contact planetlabs.com and we can connect you to the world leader in satellite imagery.
